Saturn Pressed Flat

The stability of a thing, be it a physical stability or the stability of a concept, is codependent to the integrity of it’s boundary, its surface and skin. An agitated surface holds the possibility of a new boundary line, or none at all, and is at once anxiety inducing and liberating. These paintings are different skins (representational, digital, physical) brought together in mutual dissolution, consumption and production.
